78's were so under powered, the flatty has to be an improvement.

In actuality, the lowest HP in a production Vette was in 1975 (if you overlook the original 6-cylinder '53 & '54 cars which were rated at 150 hp).

Chevrolet Corvette C8, rips to 60 in 2.8 seconds!

Awesome car. I got a nice tour of one in a Walmart parking lot a couple of months back.
One of the switches is a "drag" mode which prevents any tire slippage and keeps it completely straight! Old guy like me and loved showing it off

I have 1 C1 and 5 flathead cars so yeah, I like both. {C1 57 FI)

I too have had 15 nice older Vetts in all, between '56 up to '73.
I went to Cobras about 20 years ago, so I've had 3 of them, all 427's.
