bumper i d
31 pickup..steel top cab i got two bumpers with this money pit project, one is a long slow curve and 64 3/4" + or -. the other one is 65 1/2" + or- and has a bit of an offset in the outer foot or so of its length. which is correct for my truck? i can't tell for sure from catalog pictures.

If the offset one looks like this it's for earlier cars.

The 64" curved one is early 1930. The 65" curved at the ends is 1928-29. Your late 1931 should be a 60" curved one.

Thanks for the info. How thick and wide are these bumper bars? It appears they are about a quarter-inch thick and about two inches wide. Anyone want to give exact measurements? New stainless seems to cost well over $330 for front bumpers, no hardware included. I'd think buying stainless bar stock of similar dimensions would be a quarter of that.
