Default 1932 Ford Battery

I have two Ford Battery which one has the Battery caps has Ford scrip on all 3 black then on the other Battery the caps are RED which is wrong for 32 Ford. Well someone has made them but why? The battery cases are correct for 32 Ford. Any one of you know why? They have Ford on them.

Ken, I rather suspect that it is just the difference in manufacturing. Perhaps the red cap batteries were meant for a tractor? Mine all had black caps.

As a side note: Back in the day red caps meant 3.2%!! Lol

In Minnesota, for Hamm's at least, a blue cap meant 3.2; red cap was strong.
