Default 47 ford vent window crank assy

does anyone have a pic, or an exploded drawing on how the front vent window crank assy works?
Do I need the crank if the spring loaded locking tab works ok?

I think you would, otherwise the window would just flop around. they sell repair kits for the small regulator.

I just replaced mine on my 1941 coupe, got mine from Drake, but here is a link to c$G
https://cgfordparts.com/ufolder/ford...er=11A-7023402
The only problem is two of the rivets are too short to hold well, I used a bolt in mine when I lost one of the rivets.
My advice is to take pictures of yours before you take it out, do pictures of both sides. After I drilled out the rivets, I put it together with some 10-24 bolts to check function before I riveted back together. Be sure it lube it good.
There is a worm gear on the handle end and the gear in the picture is connected to a shaft on the bottom of the vent window frame. Feel free to pm me for more info.

My car is a pretty rough project, no interior, and just one vent window without a regulator that's why I'm looking for pics.
