Default 2 Tooth Steering Box Leak

I filled the 2 tooth steering box on the tudor and quite a bit of it decided to come out around the eccentric adjusting nut. I'm not familiar with the 2 tooth box but have all of the books and took a look in those. It seems that maybe the special stud may be loose causing the leak.

I thought I'd ask before I tear it apart to take a look. I hoping I can take the nuts off an tighten the stud without removing the assy from the car.

There are no leaks anywhere else on the assy.

Oh, and maybe Penn Rite later, but not at this point.

Anyone else have this happen?

I was going to recommend the Penn Rite but I see you already know.

There's a cork gasket that seals the housing from the bolts. If it's leaking around the eccentric stud or any of the others, the cork gasket is shot. You might be able to pull the pitman arm, take out the two bolts holding the housing onto the frame, and pull it far enough to rotate the steering housing, remove the four bolts and replace that gasket.
I just got mine together after replacing that gasket twice. I ruined the first one trying to get the adjustment proper so the steering wouldn't bind. You shouldn't have that problem if all you are doing is replacing the gasket.
