This picture of my wife and myself was taken by the local newspaper after we got home from a trip of 14,000 km which saw us circumnavigate Australia last year.
We travelled from Mackay to Darwin to attend the 2016 National Meet (About 2800 km) and then continued on around Australia in an anti-clockwise direction to complete the full circle. More pictures of the journey can be found on my profile page

Sarah has been away on a date with Larry but she should be back home soon with new tires, repainted wheels, new shocks, etc. This should be her last winter away from home.......I have a brand new T-shirt coming for her to wear at the next Annual Model A Wet T-Shirt Contest and I hope to then post a photo of me fondling her big round and firm headlights in her wet T-shirt when she comes home . Soon after though, it will be time to pack and load her up for our trip back to the Border for some recall National Service. I've made contact with an old Army buddy in California that served with me and we're to meet up in San Angelo before joining our old regiment at Camp Bliss and ride again patrolling the border. Tom and I want to be there for sure for the Cinco de Mayo festival.

Here's the first car I learned to drive , and I drove it a lot.
Also the first car I ever worked on, I was surprised when I tore down my current love, I recognized every part, I was a little surprised, I was fairly young at the time. My 8 year old is really sharp, and my 13 yr old is 6'1"
so I guess I was younger than I remembered. The plate tells it all.

My Dad ended up wrecking it while drinking, boy I was mad!
I replaced the front spring shackles by myself, I remember using a 2x4 between the axle and spring to pry around till I could get them in. I kept it started all winter long using the hand crank. I was then 12, by spring he lost interest and sold it for $200.00 in 66.

I would take that thing out in the middle of the night and cruse the town, drive way was down hill, roll pop the clutch and we're off! My dad would've killed me!

Dad got bored and sold that! Darn! I tried to buy it from the new owner,,nope gonna fix it!

That's me changing the oil, little bro opening the cans.

I have had dreams about having one, I mean real middle of the night dreams,,,,ever since.
When my adult daughter and I were looking at old family pics, we got on de-bay to see what they went for,,I went and got the first car loan in my life for a model a.

Now every bolt is apart,,,,,
