Default Rojah spark plug ends

Does anyone know how to install these Rojah ends? the hole on the backside is barely large enough for a wire to go through. Not large enough for the casing of the plug wire to fit through for support. Seems a little cheesy to me.

The knurled part unscrews, the wire goes through it and seats on a prong. Then screw it back together. Used right, they are anything but "cheesy".

BTW, I am almost sure these won't work on anything larger than 7 MM wires.

Worked fine for me, just as tubman said.
Sounds like you are trying to use wire larger than the 7MM size these are designed for.

My friend just went through this and had the same problem on the new plastic ones, I think he had to enlarge the holes a little to get the 7mm wires into them. But that is not going to work on those metal ones Maybe heat the ends of the wires outer covering with a heat gun and clamp something around it to squish them smaller until they cool. The real Rajah ends say Rajah on them. They are tuff to find, I have found some on old wire sets on distributors I have bought.

These came from Brillman. I'm just having a hard time understanding what holds the wire from just falling out. It just seems that when you tighten the knurl it would just allow the wire to pull right out.

I've used the originals as well as the ones from Brillman - which are a decent repop.

You strip back the insulation so about 1/4" of conductor is showing. You then unscrew the two metal pieces, insert the plug wire with the conductor poking through the hole, then when you put it back together and hand-tighten the two pieces, an angled "poker" at the end of the one end expands the conductor wires and forms a good quality connection.

The ones I've used have a plastic covering on the one side of the assembly, looks like yours are all plated brass on both sides.

You need to use a crimping tool. Go to their web site and get the one you need.

No, no crimping with this type of connector. Post no. 7 by Bored & Stroked gave perfect directions.

Sid, now that I think about it, I was scratching my head like you. Brillman should provide some instructions for those of us who have never used these before. They should copy and paste what Bored & Strokes wrote above.

Bored was correct. Did as he instructed and it did work... Thanks. On the crab distributor end are guys finding the straight boots work best or the 90 deg.? I'm finding this Brillman solid core wire a little stiff to work with. Maybe because it's so damn cold up here now.

I used ninety degree ends at the crab cap. Too much going on in a tight space in front of a flathead. You don’t need extra wire making a slow bend adding to the congestion. The ninety ends gets the wires going up right next to the cap.

I bought all my supplies from Brillman too, back in about 2005. I used the Rajah ends with the plastic barrels. Their solid core braided cloth covered wire, then straight ends at the crab cap. Plenty of clearance for me, but my fan is up high on the generator. Only one belt to sneak under, then up to chrome tube separators.

I don't use the Rajah connectors (only due to availability) but do use 90 degree ends at the crab cap.

90 at crab end. Cleaner and helps the route the wires. If not, you'll have a fairly large radius coming from those wires.
