ORIGINAL Model A Ford Battery Case

Pictured here is an original Model A Ford Battery Case. Recently I advertised my Ford Battery stand (which I sold) and I had several people ask me if I had an original Ford Battery. At the time I did not. What I had was close (it sold with the stand), but this battery case, which I recently obtained, is dated 5-30, so I am stating that this an original. I have attached several pictures of the case. It has the expected wear and tear of a 93 year old part (AS-IS condition). I have the case only, no cell tops, no cell connectors, and no cell caps. However the Ford script is in excellent shape. In my many years of collecting, this is the first case that I have ever run across. On the bottom of the battery case is the date 5-30 and the letter E. There are no other discernible markings that I can see. The ribs go all the way to the bottom of the case and it has no handling holes on each end, therefore it is the later style case (30-31). I do not think the case could be made functional again to retain acid, but I will leave that judgement up to the buyer. It makes for a FANTASTIC rare display piece at any rate.
I suppose there is even the possibility one could scan the case, clean up the model and 3D print a new case!
Since these are so hard to find in any condition, I have no point of reference to its value, therefore I am accepting offers. I reserve the right to keep the case if I do not think any offer is sufficient. I am thinking method of payment should be cash. I am willing to ship it if the buyer pays for shipping and applies insurance to cover the value. Of course if the buyer wants to pick it up I would be willing to do that as well (location is west central Ohio).
I plan to advertise the case elsewhere as well (MARC & other sites), so, since I am taking offers, I will let the ads run for some time before making a decision regarding any offer.
