Default lacquer paint

I have a 1935 ford with a black lacquer paint job from the 60's. I have rubbed out all the oxidation but I am not sure what to use to seal it so it doesn't oxidize again soon.

Treat it like any modern paint. I like a good Carnauba wax like Mcguires.

My '40 coupe was painted in 1980 with DuPont lacquer and still looks great......no cracks or crazing......have never had to use any abrasives on it since the original buffing. I have used Maquiars exclusively, and recommend there products. You can get some good advice on products for your situation from their tech reps. Call the 1-800 number.
