Default Strange spark plug not Model A

Anyone know what this is for? Was it specific to a certain make of car? It is a little smaller that an A plug. Appears to be factory made, Champion on porcelain.

That's a primer plug. It allowed one to put a small amount of fuel into the chamber to start the car on a cold morning. It looks to be a plug with pipe thread which was common on early cars. Model T, Reo, Olds, etc. could have used them.

On my EMF, I can't make a quick getaway even without them. The length of the intake manifold from carburetor to block is about 20 inches. I have to crank 4 times with the choke fully closed just to fill the intake tube. Then she pops right off...Maybe..
