rumble seat striker change

Does any body know approx. when the rumble seat striker and outside handle location where changed? Seems like somewhere in 1928 or early 1929.

Can't give you an exact date, but I'm pretty sure that it was a 1928-29 vs 1930-31 model change.

The "new" version was introduced with the 1930 models. However there were a number of Coupe and Sport Coupe bodies built by Briggs in early 1930 which had the early configuration.
