Model A door dimensions
I recently picked up some 30-31 Model A doors. I tried the search, but
didn't find what I needed. Im looking for the length difference in coupe/truck and sedan doors. Is the beltline area a common number to discuss the lengths? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Model A door dimensions
The tudor/pickup door will measure about 29 1/4" width. The coupe is about 27 3/4". The fordor front is the same as the coupe but the height's shorter due to the fact that it doesn't have a flange on the bottom hanging down past the sill. A lot of people don't know it but the top hinge on the coupe is 3" down from the top, the 2dr/pickup is 4" so you can't use a coupe door on a 2dr cowl or vice versa.

Re: Model A door dimensions
Actually there are two sizes of fordor doors depending on the manufacture either Briggs or Murray.
