Stromberg 97 Question
I'm looking to buy a couple of real good kits for rebuilding Stromberg 97 carburetors. Who sells the good kits with that will take the new crummy gas?
Thanks for any and all replies. Jay in Mass |

Re: Stromberg 97 Question
This from Ken Isidor on the EFV8 site > " I'm liquidating my 25 yr hobby business. ken ct. I post on the efv8ca website only. I would need your complete name and address for PO. send it in an email. [email protected]"
Ken specialized in carbs and fuel pumps....

Re: Stromberg 97 Question
Quote:
Your definition would be correct IF used in the context as an ADJECTIVE, as in: "A carburetor is a "specialized" fuel control device." In my quoted question, SPECIALIZED is used as the VERB in the PREDICATE of that sentence. It refers back to the NOUN "Ken" in the SUBJECT, as in: "Ken specialized in........" If you can remember back to that awful "diagramming of sentences" when we were in grade school, it still works to help make our language specific, yet simple. So more-specifically, was Ken SPECIALIZED in selling carburetors, etc, or buying carbs, or talking about carbs, or beadblasting and spray-bombing carbs? |

Re: Stromberg 97 Question
How about keeping the $ in your own state? Try Freeman's Garage 29 Ford Road Norton, Mass. 508-285-6500
I happened upon this place on a road trip to look at a 32 Ford. It's a cool old time garage and the guys work on old hot rods, primarily Model As. They sell all speed equipment for flatheads and bangers and are a Stromberg dealer. A well kept secret I guess. I enjoyed the company and the old boneyard out back. A trip back in time. Take a friend. Some of you other guys need a time out from the forums, really. |
