I was just going through a downloaded version of the South Bend Lathe Co. manual for my 9" lathe and found this... Rather interesting. ws

wish I could read it.I got mine home finally and into its final resting position.It is a south bend also.Where do I find out its pertenant information? I have not really looked it over much.

you can always check Lindsey Publications. I have gotten some really nice reprints of original manuals from them, but when they are gone, you have to wait for the next printing.

how about 11" throw and 5' bed... wish I had a scientific calculator to figure out that manufacture date... haha it needs lots of work!

That looks like a light 10 (10" swing). Pull the tailstock off or slide it forward and youll see the ID numbers... easy to get info from there! ws
