Default Drum Brake Shoe Linings?

I need to re line my brake shoes and would appreciate some assistance on what brand of lining and what friction code EE, FF, GG, etc. I don’t go fast enough for some linings to heat up enough to work properly. I know that a lot of the linings are now made in China so are probably crap. I always try to go with US made car parts if possible regardless of price. I suspect that I may have to buy lining material and install it myself. I understand that some materials have more friction but don’t last as long, I will never wear out even the softest of linings so that is not a concern. Thanks!

Call JG Brake Drum Relining . They are located in Illinois. Top notch company. I had a problem with my shoes causing my panel to pull hard to the left. I called them and sent my shoes to them. They used a softer material which solved the pulling problem.

As stated above, JG is the place to go. They custom made my linings with semimetalic composite. Very professional and knowledgeable company.

I sent four Lincoln shoes to Brake Wharehouse in the twin cities. They put on the softest lining at my request, arced them to the drum ID that I provided, and sent them back in less than a week. Cost was about $130 a year ago IIRC. They worked perfectly.
