Here are some thoughts.

Is the pick up tube inside the tank blocked or broken off?
Do you have this problem when gas tank is full?

Might have to rebuild the carb

Possibly the fuel level in the carburetor is too low. I would check the float in the carburetor and make sure it is good shape, and the float stop on the float as well as the float valve. What seems to happening is the fuel in the carburetor is sloshing to one side during a turn and thereby starving the engine.

maybe I misspoke. my suggestion has nothing to with your gas tank. it has to with the carburetor and the float/valve system there in. i am asserting that the fuel level inside the carburetor might be too low. therefore, when you make a turn, the fuel sloshes to one side, INSIDE THE CARBURETOR temporarily starving the engine. Happy motoring!

fourfords is on the right track. Follow his advice. If sufficient fuel is reaching the carburetor then there must be a problem within the carb.

What type of carburetor is on your car? An original 1933 Detroit Lubricator, a swapped out two barrel manifolds and carb, or something else?
Also, is the engine stalling because it runs lean or rich? Extra throttle usually means too much fuel that gets diluted by the extra air from the throttle.

Original Carb. Idles fine after a good warm up and drives straight with no problems. I am entering a turn at about 5mph so the total turn is about 5 seconds
