Take plenty of pictures though and post the best ones. Love to see what people do to make their pre-war Fords look like moonshine runners! Googled it a few times but there's plenty of room for more. |

Re: Dawsonville Moonshine Festival
Check with the Econo lodge. For over twenty years we’ve stayed at the quality inn . Always signed up on a list upon checkout for the next year. Found out two weeks ago that now we have no reservations there because they went under new management and they shit canned the sign up list and told me sorry we have nothing available. We were able to get rooms at the Econo Lodge.

Re: Dawsonville Moonshine Festival
If Dawsonville is out of rooms try Dahlonega. It's one town north and an easy 15-20 minute drive down highway 9 to get to the Moonshine fest. Highway 9 was a major route back in the day for running shine according to the old stories.

Re: Dawsonville Moonshine Festival
Hi Ken, Have fun. I haven't been to the Moonshine Festival with the Cigar City Flatheads in several years, stuff keeps getting in the way. This year I'm taking my '40 LZCC to the ft Lauderdale, FL Concours on the 28th of October, not enough time to do both. Hope to see you in Dawsonville next year.

Re: Dawsonville Moonshine Festival
Did anyone else see the ‘39 Phaeton today? First time I’ve seen one in person. It was really cool.
There was also a center door Model T. Never seen one of those in person either. |
