Default Torque on 48 Ford oil pan and heads

What is the torque for oil pan on 48 Ford and Alum heads on same engine ? thanks

Hey Steve, the pan bolts are 5/16 course thread, torque about 20-25# I never torqued pan bolts in my life, just don't brake em. The aluminum heads 50# start in the middle of heads and work out, after run for a while let engine cool and torque heads again, do that at least 3 times. Walt

It is strange to me how some folks are so obsessed with torque on everything, even garnish moldings on windshields. ( I'm bring facetious here) Just tighten them hand tight on MOST everything. Ford mechanics didn't use torque wrenches back in the day.
