Re: 40 Ford Heater For Sale
Thanks for the info. I will research it.. It came out of my buddies 40 Coupe rebuild project. He took it out to put in AC. I was going to put it in my 41 Pickup rebuild but I bought a finished truck. It did however fit well in the 40.

Re: 40 Ford Heater For Sale
This is where I fully appreciate pictures being posted or made available ,saves a lot of time and trouble for buyer and seller and probably the person actually needing this year heater will see it. I have two items in last couple years from sellers who have been in the Ford hobby long enough to know there parts better, one deal was from V8 Times classified and other from a long time Hemmings seller. Neither one could or would provide pictures or could only communicate by phone or SASE,both items completely wrong year and terribely misrepresented upon very long awaited delivery. Long time fellow V8 Club member from Dallas area would not make correct on $400 deal and still awaiting Hemmings deal. Last no picture proof deal for me,no trouble like this on Ebay. Again seller here,Thank you for pictures, very nice looking mid or later forties heater.

Re: 40 Ford Heater For Sale
For what it's worth, when I was five years old my dad took delivery on a brand new 60 hp forty standard coupe with "opera" seats in back which we had for a lot of years because I learned to drive that same car. He traded in a 37 slantback which the salesman left in that evening. People insist the heater shown here is for a 41 or later and a correct forty has two verticle doors and no bottom flap door. That may well be true but the car we had did in fact have the heater pictured here. If ours was brand new, how did it have a forty one heater even if the dealer installed it and not the factory ??
