Re: Cheep Starter Button
Most of us are willing to pay more for quality products. I have by necessity installed a bunch of Chinese parts and have my fingers crossed. Corporate America is all about increased profits. The hell with Quality Control and customer satisfaction.

Re: Cheep Starter Button
I to am a victim of the crappy replacement button, the one I got fell apart when it came out of the package. I went down to the local hardware/tractor supply store and got a USA one for under 3 bucks. save your money on the mail order buttons, not worth it.

Re: Cheep Starter Button
My 1938 coupe came with a chrome button but wasn't correct for that year but worked fine. I got the idea of replacing it with the correct looking ivory button that Mac's or Drake sells. The first time I tried to start the car the battery would only turn over soooooo slow that the battery sounded like it was going dead. I played with it figuring was a grounding problem without any improvement. I gave up and put back the chrome button and without any hesitation she fired right back up. I rather have a car that starts all the time and forget these cheap nock off original looking buttons that don't work. crap crap crap!!!!cheap cheap cheap!!
