Default 1954 f250

hi fellas, do you know if the f100 pickup frame is the same on the f250 for the 1954 year? as in length? I have a box from a f100 and would like to put it on a f250 truck.....thank you.

Your F-250 has a 118" wheel base, a '54 F-100 has a 110" wheelbase. You'd have to shorten your frame to use the bed. In 1956 Ford, for the first time, offered a long bed F-100 using the same frame under both models. Stu

I'd lengthen the bed and resit the fenders for use on you F250, maybe need a bit of widening. Lots less chance of buggering something up.
You'd end up with a nice useful pickup.
Martin.
