Default Holley 2100 vs 7RT

Is there any benefit to using a 2100 series on a stock 8BA 239? or is it overkill? And could a 7RT carb top be used on a 2100? So pickup aircleaner and choke setup could still be used?

The 2100 is a rough equivalent to the EAB carb so it's usable but it may not show any real improvement in performance. It also has to have the venturi vacuum port for the Load-O-Matic distributor if it is still in use on the 8BA. The 2110 is larger but it was designed to be used with Y-block engines.
