Re: Engine Lift for $100 at H/F
Thanks katy, your coupon was larger and came out better than my picture.
I couldn't even buy the parts to make my own for that price. |

Well we where in the USA last week for 5 swap meets in 10 days & guess what one of the $97 1 ton lifts are on its way too NZ , just needed a light one to move engines around in one shed , save me transporting them from shed too shed . Plus it held the rental van on the highway better ?

A cherry picker (also known as an mobile elevated work platform, MEWP, boom lift, man lift, basket crane or hydraladder) is a type of aerial work platform that consists of a platform or bucket at the end of a hydraulic lifting system. It may be mounted on a truck or van or on a self-propelled platform. Cherry pickers were originally designed for use in orchards (though not just cherry orchards) where they are still used frequently. It lets the fruit picker pick fruit high in a tree with relative ease. Similar devices, also known as 'cherry pickers', are used to service telephone, cable television, and electrical equipment on utility poles. Christmas light displays and banners can also be affixed with a cherry picker. Doesn't really explain where the name came from tho... |

Re: Engine Lift for $100 at H/F
Well I went to HF with the $100 discount coupon from Katy and they did not have any, and they could not tell me when they would get more. I asked to take the floor model and they said no. I had them call some of the other stores close enough to drive to and they did not have any.
I complained to the manager and ended up with a 2 ton for $135.99. So I was happy. |

I wanted the one ton, as it is a bit smaller and will do all I need it to. |

The $99.00 coupon is for the 1 ton. Your coupon is the 2 ton. I looked in my flyer and the price is $139.99 with coupon until the end of this month. I was hoping it was $99.00 because I would have sent it to you in the mail. |

Re: Engine Lift for $100 at H/F
Katy posted the 1 ton sale ad in #20, so you can print the ad or write the coupon number down and take that in.
I just got home from the metal yard and H/F, and H/F has a sale going on this weekend with $1, $2, $3, and $4 boxes of stuff. They have stethoscopes and test lights in the $3 box. They also have the 5 piece brass coupler set and 4 piece socket adaptors for $3. |

Re: Engine Lift for $100 at H/F
I bought the 1-ton hoist using the $99 coupon. Ended up with a 2-ton since Ken had it and it took too much space in his shop. We traded!
BTW, both fold up for storage, you don't have to leave the long legs sticking out. Then used the 20% off coupon and bought a 1-ton engine stand. Now I have to go pull the engine on the A when I get back into town! |

Just searched for 45 minutes and can't find that coupon! Printed out the one Katy took the picture of - came out dark but going to try to use it.

Re: Engine Lift for $100 at H/F
Sometimes the BEST HF coupons are in magazines, like you local electric co-op, veterans magazines, gun magazines. They try to attract NEW business in those mags.

For those in Southern California, the Suday L.A. Times has a Harbor Freight sales sheet with a coupon for the one ton foldable shop crane for $99.99 with an expiration date of 5/20/17.
