door latch
Today my left door handle came out of the door, I can't seem to get it re-installed, what keeps it in the latch? (1939 P/U)
Thanks Buster |

Re: door latch
Tip the handle down to the 4 o'clock position and push it in and then tip it up slightly and push again and it should go in. Your handle is held into the latch by two screws that thread into the outside of the door through the escutcheon attached to the handle. 1938 should be the same as the 40-41 pickup.
