Re: Fender
Yes, but You have to add the short shield panel.
Most have them but whether or not in stock is a big question these days. Search here for the perils of repop front fenders. |

Re: Fender
It’s a shame when a man spends that much money on a reproduction part and still has to spend that much time in reworking them. But I suppose it’s what to be expected from trying to bring a 90+ year old car back to its full glory.
What’s even crazier than that to me is that you can cut, chop, channel and beef up one of these old things and get three times more money out of them. |

Re: Fender
Aftermarket Parts. means "Almost Fit" Parts.
The Body parts always need work. The mechcanical parts aren't so bad but not great. So expect to put time into the reproduction parts. And it's not only Model A. |

Re: Fender
On my 1931 45B Coupe, there are reproduction steel fenders front & rear, and reproduction running board splash aprons. These were the best reproduction fenders & aprons in 1979 when I restored my Coupe, but they were difficult to fit. Especially difficult to fit were the front fenders to the running board splash aprons.
Having learned from the bad experience I had with my Coupe, I opted to restore a set of original fenders for my Victoria. In 2014, I spent $1200 in labor to have 4 original fenders restored ready for color from 6 derelicts. I bought the derelicts from club members and at Hershey at low prices because they were considered as junk. The restored fenders fit the Victoria whiteout a hassle! I highly recommend restoring originals, but it takes a very good tin knocker to get it done right.
