1935-'36 headlight issues
This is for a 1935 Ford. The aftermarket headlight reflector sockets and wires are junk. Or at least the ones that I have are. The socket is sloppy and the wires are unmarked. Does anybody have an original pair of headlight reflectors with sockets and good wires? Or does anyone reproduce a good socket and original style wires? Thanks. John

You need to find originals. Those repos are pure junk.Been there and done that with '32's all the way up to '36's I have owned. Try Southside Obsolete in MN.

Re: 1935-'36 headlight issues
these I went with Ron Francis Wiring for these bulb hoders. They fit well into the reflector plate holes. This was quite a few years ago when I did this, however. I used the brite bulbs they offer as well and was satisfied with them also. terry

Third gen/Michael Driskell was the first place I went. Michael just emailed me that he has originals. Thank you all. Merry Christmas! John

Re: 1935-'36 headlight issues
When I restored my 39 Zephyr I found a pair of NOS reflectors which were the same as Ford . The original silver was not good . I contacted Uvira coatings. They produce reflective coatings as good or better than silver and way more durable. I had to have them nickel coated before I sent them for them to put their coating on them. The price was very reasonable. They worked great ! My Zephyr had a 6 volt system and bright headlights.
