Default 1947 Ford Car fuel line mounting to frame

I have searched the internet, read the Early Ford V-8 handbook and cannot find how the fuel line is mounted to the frame between the tank and firewall. I know it mounts on the driver's side on top of the lower frame flange. I have found wiring harness retaining clips; there are short ones and long ones. I know for sure the short clips are to retain the harness to the rear cross member by the gas tank. How does the fuel line held in place on the drivers frame rail? Thanks in advance for any replies.

There are clips, maybe one in the same as electrical (top/bottom). They run the length of the car in the U of the frame. You can use 1/2 rubber fuel line as a vibration insulator. Just take a little piece and split it on one side and then wrap it around the line where it's connected to the frame clips.

The fuel line clips are almost larger versions of the electrical clips. The fuel variety, besides being about 2x the size, also have a formed feature to fit the line. There are a couple for the frame rail but there is a different, and more substantial, clip for the firewall. Those screw into the firewall with the same style used for the electrical harness attachment on the PS.

I'll be visiting the 46 later today and can take pics if you would like.

Pictures would be great. I have the firewall clip and know how the fuel line should look there. The frame rail pictures would be great. Thanks.

There are three of these, as I recall, along the length of the frame rail. Clearly, creating them wouldn't be difficult.
