Distributor ID
Got this flathead distributor from a buddy of mine and am trying to do an ID on it. It appears to be stamped or cast with "G S" or "CS". Early? Later? Aftermarket? It's a 2 bolt as well. Thanks guys!

Looks similar to the 42-48 ford V8 dist,but I have never seen one with the projection on each side of the hsg beside where the cap hold-down clips or bale would fit.

I agree, it looks sort of like a flathead V8 distributor. Looking at the pics with the distributor in hand it looks WAY too small.
