Default 21 stud rebuild

Where can someone get a 37 or 38 21 stud engine rebuilt in the webster New York area. Will be for a firetruck owned by a volunteer fire department. Thanks Bill

I would highly recommend Mark Moriarty, Warsaw N.Y. 585 786 2876. He has done hundreds of them, is highly reputable and very easy to get along with. I have never heard a bad word about him or his work. Phil Spaid

Thumbs up Re: 21 stud rebuild

I would say Mark Moriarty is one of the best engine guys around.

I would also recommend Mark Moriarty. I have not personally had an engine rebuilt by Mark, but he is definitely on my list of quality engine builders, and he has built engines for several friends in the EFV-8 Club, including a '37 for one of our RG36 members here in Maryland.

That would be me. My dad had a '37 block done by Mr. Moriarty in 2011-12 I think. It's a spare and resting quietly but it did fine on brief run-ins at Bill Coleman's shop near BWI.

I would add him as a possibility.
