Is there a difference in length between a model a drag link and a 1948 drag link ??? Tony

I don't think a 1948 Ford car used a drag link. It had cross steering.

Reason for asking is my car came with juice brakes , 31 Coupe. The drag link seems 3/8 " too long.Tony
