Default Side Curtain Buttons and Body Sockets

I'm getting ready to make some side curtains for my 28 phaeton and nee some updated information. To the best of my recollection a few years ago there were no side curtain buttons being made.

1) Then LeBaron Bonney made curtain buttons, but there was no installation tools available from LB. LB requested that you send your curtains to them to install their buttons.

2) Since the LB buttons, A & L and/or Mac's came out with buttons and sockets along with tooling available to install your own buttons.

Has anyone had recent experience with the curtain buttons and body sockets?

Whose hardware did you use and how did they work out?

Thanks in advance

Peace, Phred

Just finished making my own side curtains. Body sockets were already installed in my Roadster, so I did not have to install those. However, I did buy the Cinch buttons and installation tool from LB. LB was VERY helpful and great to deal with. Ask for Pam when you call. Hardware went into the curtains just fine, look good, work well.

Bert's had NOSR body sockets a couple years ago. They fit perfectly.
