Default Is the seat on a 1929 Briggs Fordor adjustable?

Is the seat on a 1929 Briggs Fordor adjustable? I have looked and can't see anything.

Not on the 60-B (leatherback.) I don’t know about the 60-C. The previous owner of my 60-B fabricated sliders for the front seat, but it raises the seat up too high. I have to duck to see under the header, and I’m a short guy.

The Briggs 60C did indeed have an adjustable front bench seat.
Our 60C was missing the original seats so I do not have 100% image of what the mechanism looked like.

Research and looking at old photos the dial (Adjustment Knob) and brackets look identical to same components found on the 30 coup. What was actually under the seat and attached to the riser is unknown. In our opinion the mechanism used same seat adjuster bolt. Even the holes on the wood cross member are exact match for the front bracket.

The front seat on my 1930 155D Briggs Town Sedan is adjustable. Is there a knob in the center of the seat riser near the floor?

Bratton's lists seat adjustment parts for '29-31 Fordors and Town Sedans.

There is no adjustment on my 60B. It's a May 1929 USA car .

I joke it is a one size fits all arangement. The later 30- 31 Fordors were adjustable

Not on a 1929 Tudor either only the Late 31 Deluxe Tudor had the adjustable seat on the Tudor and not the standard Tudor in 31 late.

There is a post several years ago on moving the seat. In curent position it is almost dangerous. I moved mine and what a difference.

My all original August 1929 Briggs bodied fordor seat is adjustable, but not by much. People must have been smaller in 1929.
