Default Garage Find

Found 1929 Model a 2 door roadster for sale. Mint condition redone by body shop pro. Not moved or started for 7 years. Will see tomorrow. Son selling since dad very sick. Asking 15K. Should I be afraid since it's been sitting so long? What could be the hidden issues? Seems like good price if all is well. Jim

the term mint condition is thrown around very loosely. mint condition to me is perfect in every way and it would not be selling for 15k...

post many pics for us to evaluate as best as possible of all areas........

many came on here saying they bought a mint model A only to find out its a turd that needs alot of work.

Body shops do the outside skin, but what about all the mechanicals?
Is anything rebuilt?

Mine sat for over fifty years without being started, thirty days later I was driving her, don't let the time scare you, it's all in the condition.
Take someone that knows A's with you, may just need oil pans clean up and a full tune-up to get her going, but on the other hand it may need a full re-build, the difference being THOUSANDS of dollars.
A local Model A club may help with this, can never hurt to ask.
