Default Cowl welting

RJT here, I have just recently become the latest owner of a 1929 Model A Phaeton that was aledgely bought out of the '29 NewYork auto show for my Grandmother, it was passed on to my Father, then Mother, and finally to me. This car was parked in 1987 and left with a alomst full tank of gas. needless to say I imagine youall know what happened. I have pulled the tank and had it cleaned and sealed, so now it's time to reinstall it. the question I have is: How far apart does one have to take the car apart to remove and replace the welting that goes between the cowl and door posts and over the top rear of the tank? any and all advice would be greatly apprieciated!
