Yeah, cause given some on the X's of my friends, they'd be put into that big ass balloon with a pack of cigarettes and a lighter Did I just say that??? Actually the truth of the matter is that some of my 'friends' should have been the first ones on board.

Hobbies are a funny thing, though, One man's trash is another man's treasure.
That guy with the zeppelin probably loved his model zeppelins more than any antique car. It was just a funny picture especially because he was right out in front of his home and garage the place where we usually see an antique car.

Collecting things is a fairly normal hobby, i collect cars, really should sell some.
Some people have really terrible hobbies, i saw some on the internet, pretty weird ones out there.
Just be glad that cars is a good one.

I bought a 51 f1 project with the intent to restore it and give it to my wife as a gift. Found out she was having an affair with my friend. She divorced me and ended up marrying him. I let her have my business, my house, everything EXCEPT my truck. That was a big fight but she eventually gave up.

I am now doing a frame off restoration of the truck with my son. That truck has helped me keep my sanity in what was a pretty tough time. I love this hobby.

Please let people know who your divorce lawyer was so no one else gets him. If she was running on you she should have gotten zero. A local car guy suspected his wife was running around on him and it devastated him but he kept a clear head. He spent 6 months to a year doing his own detective work and recording about every room in his house so he had lots of adulterous proof. In the meantime he transferred the titles to his street rods and other collector cars to his brothers who he trusted with cofidentiallity. On one of the recordings he heard her tell someone on the telephone that she was going to bring him to his knees by taking his beloved cars in a future settlement. When she "surprised" him on wanting a divorce he was ready. Her lawyer argued that everything he did was devious and very deceitfull but the judge saw it his way. He was able to keep most of everything as he held out the longest, he was able to settle and keep his retirement also.

Excellent! LOL. I somehow lost track of this thread. It just keeps getting better. The B-17 is so over the top too. My wife of 25 years pulled the same crap with the guy on the next property, but Wa is a 'no fault divorce state', so didn't matter who or what she was doing.. She got half, I bought house back, raised the 4 kids, who wanted nothing to do with her. I got to keep my 38 tonner and my landcruiser truck. After 15 years I married a gem. Nurse, first responder, good welder and she brings me back a six pack when she goes into town without me having to ask.

Ditto mate. My car helped me maintain my sanity ( some would say I was never sane) and now my cars finished...12yrs after. Good luck with yours.

I had a maytag gas powered washing machine for a while. 2 cycle horizontal single cylinder. Kick starter just like a harley. Exhaust was a long flex pipe you would run outdoors. 10-1 mix so the air was blue. Model T style pipe thread spark plug. There are a lot of maytag collectors across the country. I still have a maytag single cyl engine and a later model opposed twin. Real smooth. I don't think they made a gas powered dryer, but it does give me an idea for next summer's engine meet at Lynden.
