21 stud edmunds intake/gen mounting concern
I put a dual carb intake on my 35 and went to install the gen and it sits in the grove on the intake very sloppy. Measured the gen base it is 2 1/2 inches and the intake slot is 2 11/16. Nothing is worn out nice crisp 90 deg edges. I am not pleased with the fit between the two parts, does anyone have any advive for me. Thanks

Re: 21 stud edmunds intake/gen mounting concern
I would line it up and tighten the nut and not worry about it. The worst thing that can happen is the generator will cock to one side a little but I doubt it will.

Re: 21 stud edmunds intake/gen mounting concern
I would use JB Weld to epoxy a thin shim on the driver's side. Depending on what kind of dual manifold you have the mounting groove may be roughly 5/8" off the center line to the driver's side, so mounting it to the passenger side could be beneficial . Good luck,...Matt in Alameda

There is two different generator mounts you need to get the mount to fit or get a piece of key stock and put it to one side. I had a GRANCO intake with the same problem. JMO.
