Question seat belt source

I am getting close to finishing my 1939 Pickup restoration. Wanted to know if members have a suggested source for seat belts. Thanks.

I am using a set of military aircraft belts for mine. Got from Ebay.

I second http://www.julianos.com/seat_belts.html
I installed their shoulder belt system. It went in as advertised, looks great and functions excellent!

If you like the "race belt" look they go out of date very quickly and there is normally an endless supply around any type of racing facility.

Got mine from C&G. Be sure to measure the length you need. I learned the hard way.

Mine came from a junk yard, had a large selection, picked the best for 10 bucks for the pair. Shoulder, lap, and re-coil.

Purchased the belts for my '38 pickup from them too. I went with a seat/shoulder belt because I want it to actually protect me in case of a accident. Seat belts just are not going to do it. My belts retract so they are not too noticeable and they came in many colors.

How do you guys attach the upper shoulder belt mount? There isn't much metal there, and I'm not sure it would hold in a head-on collision. After a collision is a little late to know if they will hold. It seems like lap belts securely mounted would at least keep from being thrown out of the car.

On the Julianos web site they have an example of their stiff arm 3-point seat belt installed in a 41 sedan delivery in their (How To Section).

Great website with many options. Scott
