Default Oil in steering column holes

Near the top of a 28 steering column are two holes, right and left, which appear to be an opportunity to oil both levers onthe column.
Assuming this is accurate, what type/ weight oil is best?

The holes are for the counter sunk or flat head screws that attach the quadrant to the column tube, no oil is used there.

When I bought my 28 the spark and throttle levers were very stiff in the top bushing, so I just put a couple drops of oil where they meet the bushing. With use and oil they've gotten much better.
