Default dip stick tube V8-60

Does the dipstick tube come out of the oilpan bracket? I'd rather take it out than remove the header. The engine is in a custom frame and pan hits the frame on the other side so it needs to be rotated down on this side.

I know the bracket is made of unobtainium so I don't want to break it. Thanks.

I believe it simply unscrews & is a 1/4" or 3/8" pipe thread.

Thanks, Dick. It came right out. Looks like 1/4" NPT. This is what fordbarn is all about.
