Polarizing 48 F1
I’m working on a 1948 F1 Pickup with a V8
Someone had previously switched the battery polarity to neg grid. I have switched it back to pos grd, verified the coil is pos grd. when it runs the amp meter moves to discharge I would like to polarize the generator but not sure what procedure to follow appears there are two types of generator systems the wiring is all original, ick Dave |

Re: Polarizing 48 F1
If you have a B circuit, regular will show posts in this order B F A , UNHOOK field wire on reg & touch to battery post on reg, quickly
If A circuit, regular B A F USE A JUMPER from A to B |
