Default 46-48 front sway bar

So I'm slowly getting this Frankenstein car back together, and I'm wondering how close do the sway bar end have to be to the mounts? I've looked at some pics on-line and they all seem to be a little different.

If the mounts are on the frame ,the ends should fall in place. If the bar is the correct bar, the links should be about vertical into the spring perch hole. one hole is for shock, other for sway bar

The ends of the sway bar are about an inch and a half from the perch bolt holes, and I would have to angle up the sway bar a bit
