Running 40 Coupe Rear End for Sale

SOLDRear End out of a 1940 Ford coupe. The spring and two rebuildable shocks are included. It needs new shackles. The rear end was until recently in a running vehicle and performed very well. The brakes also worked flawlessly. It is now stored in a clean, dry environment.

The brake system appears to have been recently reconditioned. It has one new wheel cylinder, all new brake lines, and the axle nuts have been off to either inspect or replace the brake shoes.

I have been told the number stamped on the rear end (3-97) indicates that it is a 4.10:1 gear ratio but I am not certain so please do your homework and let me know if I am wrong.
