Tom Wesenberg hits Post #4000...
...the vast majority of which were thoughtful and helpful answers from a VERY knowledgeable fellow, with a little seasoning of humor thrown in.
Thanks, Tom. We appreciate your willingness to share. Joe

And the real blessing for some of us is to know Tom personally and have had the good fortune of seeing his thought-provoking ideas/concepts in action. Tom is indeed a true treasure in this hobby.

Re: Tom Wesenberg hits Post #4000...
Thanks guys for the kind words. I'm just glad this isn't one of those automotive sites that asks for money for each answer, as I couldn't afford the help I've also recieved.
Just for kicks I asked one of those pay sites how do I change the thermostat in a 1991 Olds with a 3800 engine. I got the wrong answer and they asked for $30. |

Re: Tom Wesenberg hits Post #4000...
Elcastor, my avatar is simply a beautiful American type locomotive (4-4-0), which I consider one of the best looking steam engines ever built. This one is a replica of the Jupiter, which was used in the celebration of the first transcontinental railroad. Unfortunatly, both of the original engines (Jupiter and the 119) were scrapped.
