truth be know, they are copper nickel alloy which is more expensive and can handle more PSI than any steel lines. do your homework buddy...

Many of the "copper" brake lines were actually steel lines coated with copper to keep the steel from rusting. As nice as this car is I would bet that is the case here.

Without a doubt you are right, but he just said copper which would be a concern.

I am presently looking for a nice all original, or maybe a previously restored to EFV8C/A show standards, '35 or '36 3W coupe.
Do you possibly mean the brake lines on this car are copper coated steel? If that is what you mean, that is a good thing, but if they are solid copper, that's not a good thing. If they are copper coated steel, you could always go back and edit your original posted ad to clarify this item.
Regardless of this and other comments made here, this car looks and sounds very nice. I have also seen it listed on ebay several times.

the brakes lines will be kunifer - its a common brake line material of copper/nickel mix.

its funny i was offered this very car a few months ago, guy said it was in mexico - and its been touted on the hamb by someone as well - not the person selling it here. seems to be a few different people selling the same car which is odd - who really owns it?

Not to be picky, but perhaps he used copper-clad steel lines. I know Roy Nacewicz has these for fuel lines, maybe for brake lines too?

Johnstons2000,

Did you do the work on this car? I ask because you say that you shaved the horns off:

Being a mild custom look I shaved the front horns and installed some hidden small ones (2 of them) which are working fine and loud.

Or is it really your car as you state that it is in post # 15.

Thanks Buford, I will a little upset with it my self and sent him a pretty nasty private message. I have had some of the nicest comments on my cars but every once in a while you get a jerk who has to be rude as heck.
thanks...

Don't mean to cause more trouble just asking.

Incidentally, my family is from Laredo, Texas.

TonyM.

I'm not a 35 expert, but those seats look an awfully lot like 39 Ford seats. I mention this because I am looking at seats right now, and that seat adjuster looks like a 39 seat that I looked at yesterday. He did say it isn't all original. Having said that, the car does look awfully nice on top.

PEPE's taste in upholstery is interesting but not what I would expect in a car described as restored. Rebuilt , yes. Restored , No.

What is the actual asking price for this car? The last price I saw on Ebay was $33,150.00 but $36,500.00 here on Fordbarn.
