Default Kudos to Bratton's

Two weeks ago I ordered a buncha parts from Bratton's, among which was a new front floor mat for my coupe. When I unpacked the stuff yesterday, I noticed the mat was badly damaged; it looked like someone had slashed it several times with a packing knife, though the cuts didn't go all the way through to the front.

So when I called Bratton's this morning to explain the problem, they said they would just send me a new one. No fuss, no muss, no bother. That is the right way to run a business!

When I did my wide bed pick up, I had the incorrect date on the glass. I called and jeff stayed late at night, redid the etching and overnighted the new glass to me.

I am forever a Brattons fan!

I live near Bratton's and have known Walt for 15 or so years and Jeff perhaps for the last ten years. The thing I value most about both of them is their honesty. They will always tell you the truth even if it jeopardizes the sale of an item.

Both of them have helped me so much over the years by often giving me a lead on who might have an original part that I was seeking. Walt has often helped me by pointing out the differences between a repo and original part when I was having difficulty sorting out my "treasures" from Hershey.

Finer folks you will not find - Hunter

I first met Walt Bratton at the 1992 MAFCA meet in Dallas. He attended all the technical seminars and helped with anything needed, visual aids, moving chairs, whatever. However what struck me was that he piled a large quantity of boxes with his catalog in them on the back table free for the taking. This was when most suppliers wanted to charge you a fee for their catalog.

I thought at the time this fellow knows how to do business. What better way to put a catalog in the hands of people who are his potential market.

I have done business with him ever since and he is truely a gentleman.

That's not the way to to business, you need to take care of your customers. Be careful who you say that around though...there are people here that will say it is your fault and Macs did nothing wrong lol

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Walt Bratton, but it's been a pleasure to deal with him and his crew. Every purchase I've made from Brattons has been a terrific experience.

I to won't buy anything from Mac's anymore. Twice I ask the person(s) on the phone, some time apart and with different sheetmetal parts, where the parts came from. They told me in a not so nice way "we don't divulge our suppliers". I wanted to make sure the parts weren't from Howell's in Texas. Now, Mac's is the last place I will ever go for parts. I agree Bratton's is one of the best along with Bert's.

I am fortunate to live close to Bratton's and go there directly to get my parts. Walt, Jeff, and the other folks have never been less than totally helpful and friendly. The one time I had a problem with a part fitting properly, Walt took it back without question. He determined the part had been incorrectly made by the supplier, and then took them all off his shelves until he could get the correctly-sized part remade by the supplier. Bratton's is a quality organization in my opinion!
