Default 1948 ford f2

I recently bought a f2 pickup I'm trying to figure out what year it is for sure the guy I bought it from thought a 1948 but the first number of the vin is a 9 so does that mean it's a 49?

You will need to post in the Early V8 section

If you have a question about your car ask in one of the forums. There are 4 sections Model T, Model A, Early V8 and Late V8. The posting on those 4 are more directed to stock type cars and trucks.
If it's a customizing type question try;
