Losing a granfather is alway difficult. My grandpa died in 1964. I remember it like it was yesterday. So sorry for your loss. May he be with you always.

Although I have never met you and likely never will, I also am sorry about your loss John. I lost my father who I absolutely admired and respected. You never get over it for sure. Take each memory you have and turn it into a rose. Make the biggest bouquet you possibly can. On any given day take out a rose and smell it. The bouquet is yours for the rest of you life and nobody can ever take it from you.
God Bless !

John, make him proud of the man he helped you to become. Ask him to watch over you now, and he will. All things happen for the greater good. Bob

John,
I know a big part of your Grandpa will continue to live on in you. We've enjoyed having him a member of "The Ladyslipper A's" even though it was too short a time. You and your Mom will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Wish I had great words of wisdom to help you, John, but just remember that a part of him is in you and his passing causes a wound that will always be there. Wish I could hug you, BUDDY! Bill W.

Very sorry to hear the news. Like Bill said he will always be a part of you. My grandpa got me into Model A's and I now have his coupe and miss him dearly also. He certainly left an impression on my Dad and I that we we mirror in many ways.

I am sorry for your loss John. It sounds like he went quickly, with the dignity he deserved. In the end that all any of us can ask for.

Sorry for the loss of someone so close to you, John. I know that the bond we share with a grandparent can be sometimes be just as tight as that we share with a parent. Best wishes to you and yours. Beverly

My sympathy to you John, you have his memories to guide you. I lost my grampa when I was 10 years old and that was nearly 70 years ago, he is still with me and I think of him every day and how I helped him on the farm.
