We're looking forward to seeing everyone. It's hard to believe the school is only 1 week from now. Many preparations have been made (and plenty of tidying up still to do). We hope the weather is pleasant but we're prepared for most anything. Safe travels for all of our attendees...... Mac VanPelt

Weather update: Light rain showers on Tuesday but that clears out for the next 4 days or more. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s with normal humidity

Other notes: Most of the activity will be indoors but we’ll also have a work table setup outside under a canopy. I don’t think we’ll need jackets or sweatshirts but you may want to bring one just for the morning. If you already have my transmission book, I’d recommend bringing it. If you don’t have a copy, we’ll have a supply available for purchase. If you want to take notes, feel free to do so. If you want to take some pictures with your phone we’re okay with that. We’re also going to document the event with many photos and possibly some video (short clips). The school will include some speaking lessons, some show-n-tell hands on by us, and some hands on by you guys (with our oversight). We’ll provide lunch on both days. The school will officially end by Thursday at 5:00pm, however we will be back Friday morning for a few hours if anyone wants to join us for any follow up tech. This will wrap up by Friday noon.

This is our first training school so, in spite of all our best intentions, there will be some last minute adjustments to how the program works. We’re not going to be obsessed with holding to a tight schedule……except for lunchtime! So bear with us as it all unfolds. We’re excited to see everyone.

Would you have a video of the process you go through in the class? I bought the parts I needed from you along with the book but a video would sure make me feel better.

There will be photos taken during the event, and possibly some video snippets. However, any sort of running video is not going to happen for a variety of reasons. We will try to post the photos as quickly as possible so bear with us.

Haven't been on here for a while due to a very busy summer.
I've made my reservations and am REALLY looking forward to this. I guess you're really a car nut when you're going to go to class....and still consider it a vacation.
I see people coming from as far away as Florida and California. Apparently, I'm just a small nut.
