37 rear toque ?
Hi, I need the toque # for the end bell bolts and the toque tube bolts. Thanks Jim T.

What Coop said, and I’m not sure you could even get a proper torque reading on the bell bolts anyway, being’s those bolts are interference fit to prevent leaks.

On my '39 I made the mistake of chasing the threads before I knew they were interference fit so there may have been less meat there when I took these numbers: I had an unsalvageable banjo so I decided to test where they failed. None failed at 30 ftlbs, a few at 35 failed and the rest went at 40.

As far as torque specs for any given bolt, look up general torque specs and use the spec for the size and thread count of what you have.
