Default Seasons Greetings Thread

We are getting close, so I figured I'd start one. Seasons Greetings everyone! This year's digital card was made in photoshop from a painting I did way back in the 1970's. Yes I am that old!! At that time I was trying to get an Eric Sloane feeling out of my old car art. I love his paintings of New England barns. Whenever I see a New England winter sunset that lights up just part of the hills I call it an Eric Sloane sunset. My wife has no idea what I am talking about!

Since I have never done "politically correct", and never will.

I still think we need to put Christ back into Christmas! No, I am not religious, just remembering that this is the season for celebrating his birthday.

Merry Christmas

Happy New Year

This is a case where I agree with seasons greetings. We are wishing all the Model A owners a happy holiday of their choice of holiday, during this season of various holidays.

pgerhardt, when I clicked on your picture, I was looking at the Model A, and out of the corner of my eye it looked like a deer mount hanging on the tree.
No, I haven't been hitting the eggnog.

Merry Christmas to all.
Sorry, but no Model A Christmas picture, so my Studebaker will have to do.

I do not know what DaWizards comment about "politically correct" has to do with someone wishing Seasons Greetings. For him, nhusa and anyone else who is confused, it means hello friend, I wish you and yours the best of health, happiness, good luck and good fortune and let me know if I can help with any problems you might have. I think it was nice pgerhardt did that, and it was a nice A photo.
For myself, I wish everyone happy holidays, merry christmas, feliz navidad, happy new year, happy hanukkah, good luck, best wishes, etc.
It sure would be nice if everyone could be tolerant of each other for a couple of weeks each year without snide comments.

What ever Christ Mas means to you, have a safe one and a great new year. Spare a thought for those that may be a little less fortunate than ourselves.
I live in hope that one day we will have world peace.

Merry Christmas from down under.

Pareidolia (/pærᵻˈdoʊliə/ parr-i-doh-lee-ə) is a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists.

But now that you mention it, I see what you mean!

Just remember without Jesus Christ there is no Christmas! This is indeed a celebration of his birthday. That is why it is Merry Christmas and not Merry Xmas. Merry Christmas everyone! Wayne

Merry Christyear & Happy Newmas
The historians may have gotten the exact date wrong but there isn't any doubt in my mind that Christmas Day is to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Regardless of the pagan background of many December traditions, and whether or not Jesus was born on December 25th, our Christian responsibility is still to turn the eyes of all men upon the true Creator and Christ of Christmas. The light of the world has come. And the Christmas season and celebration presents a wonderful opportunity to share the good news--that men can be made righteous and have peace with God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas everybody!!
